This procedure takes about 40-60 minutes. If the cavity is deep we will numb the tooth, clean out the diseased portion, and replace that portion with a tooth-colored material. Finally, we’ll make last adjustments to make sure your tooth looks and feels natural. Numbing usually wears off in about 2 hours. You can eat or drink immediately after the procedure or as soon as numbing wears off.
